Swans Courting

Abstract watercolour and charcoal on paper. Wooden Navy-Blue frame with glass protection provided by Frontispiece Framers.  This painting is inspired by a group of swans in our local dock. Over the last few years, the group have grown in numbers. I love watching these beautiful birds as they go about their daily life. These two swans are courting and following each other around the dock. Juxtaposing the orange and blue watercolour again each other provides a moving water background for the peaceful swans to commune.
