The docks played a vital role in shaping London’s economy and culture and have a colourful tale to tell. Today, they stand as a fascinating reminder of the city’s maritime past. The cranes stand protected and proud on the sides of the dock. 

There are still docker's houses surrounding the Millwall Docks and this art is a nod to those great men and women who came before us and did all that hard work on the docks.
